A series of illustrations for Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights .

Explorations into analogue photographic printing processes were made to help capture the eerie 19th century atmosphere of the novel.


Chapter 3: “Let me in! Let me in!” 
Chapter 9: “Heathcliff [...] looked up to discover the author of the incident”
Chapter 12: “Her mind had strayed to other diversions”
Chapter 15: “I love my murderer— but yours! How can I?”
Chapter 16: “He was there, leant against an old ash tree”
Chapter 17: “Blest as a soul escaped from purgatory, I bounded, leaped and flew”
Chapter 29: “In the evening I went to the churchyard. It blew bleak as winter - all round was solitary”
“ And [I] wondered how anyone could ever image unquiet slumbers for the sleepers in that quiet earth”
